WILL THIS REALLY HELP ME?

We think so! Take a look at our testimonials page, where you can find referrals and happy customers. Our industry professionals have a pretty good track record when it comes to development and working with creatives.

When will I hear back from you?

We'll generally respond within 48 hours. We can get busy, so please allow up to 7 days between your purchase and when your consultation takes place.

If you need to meet with us immediately (maybe you have a looming contest deadline), you can purchase a two-day rush for an additional fee.

You can find more details about our services here.

How did you arrive at a $199 price point?

This is a great question. We strive to be transparent about our pricing, so here's how it breaks down: it takes around two hours to read your script, and another hour to prepare and organize thoughtful, personalized notes for you. Then there's the hour we'll spend going over your script with you. Finally, you're paying for the years of experience and accumulated knowledge of a Hollywood professional. So that's four hours of high level work, plus our years of working in the entertainment industry.

But [SERVICE X] only charges [PRICE $X]! what gives?

We've answered this question more thoroughly here to show you how we stack up against the competition.

will THIS GET ME AN AGENT/MANAGER?

We can't promise that, and anyone who does is lying to you. Getting an agent or a manager can be difficult. The first step is making sure you have a professional quality script, and that's what we're here to help with! The truth is, agents and managers are desperate to read something great. Our goal is for your script to be so good, they'll call you!

Will you please send my script to agents/managers/producers/the ghost of orson welles?

No.

What if I pay you a lot?

You'd be surprised how often we get this question. We will never charge you money to send your script to managers, agents, directors, producers, or executives, and you should beware of anyone who does. Pay-to-win doesn’t help anyone; your script doesn’t improve, and we don’t look good for blasting unsolicited material out to the town.

If your script is amazing (and we mean a-may-zing, like top 1%) then we may ask your permission to slip it to an industry contact. But this almost never happens, and it shouldn't be the reason you're here.

Does submitting my script mean you own it? Does it mean you're a producer on it now?

No and no. Nobody can own or option your script unless you sign something that grants them that right. (There are rare exceptions to this, but we aren't one of them. Consult an entertainment attorney if you aren't sure).

Even if I do your notes?

Yup. We make no claim to your work.

are you going to steal my idea?

No, and we’ll never use your work without permission. Every consultation is strictly confidential, and we’ll always ask before sharing a script with someone. We promise, we don’t want to steal your idea! (But you should copyright your work anyway.)
